Live Event Perm. Rep. of Greece in the EU & ALLILON with the Greek interns in the EU – May 14th, 2024
With the participation of approximately 15 mentors and 50 Greek trainees in the European Union, as well as at the Embassy of Greece and in the Permanent Representation in Belgium, another successful event by ALLILON, in collaboration with the Permanent Representation and under the auspices of the Embassy, was completed!
The event commenced with brief greetings from Ambassador Mr. Ioannis Vrailas, former Ambassador and founder of ALLILON Mr. Angelos Pangratis, and former Ambassador Mr. Dionysios Kalambrezos.
Following that, there was a short introduction to the event by the head of the local coordinators in Belgium for ALLILON, Mr. Dimitris Bartholomeos, along with the coordinating mentors for the event, Ms. Klementini Diakomanolis and Mr. Nikos Koroyannakis.
During the Speed Mentoring session, trainees and mentors were divided into thematic tables, where young participants had the opportunity to meet and discuss various topics with experienced officials from European institutions, diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and private sector executives. As evidenced by the many positive testimonials from participants, the event was a unique opportunity for trainees to network and learn more about job opportunities and their professional development!
The event was yet another excellent example of the spirit of solidarity that ALLILON fosters among Greeks around the world, always promoting its three main goals:
To individually support the efforts of our members, especially those of our youth who strive for a better professional future.
To build cohesion and a spirit of volunteerism, solidarity, and mutual support within Greek communities and other Greek entities abroad and in Greece.
To contribute to the necessary preparation and adaptation of members and partners to the rapidly emerging new world.
Warm thanks to the Permanent Greek Representation to the EU, which co-organized the event, to Permanent Representative Mr. Ioannis Vrailas for his unwavering support and excellent hospitality at the offices of the Permanent Representation, and of course to all our speakers and mentors for their very valuable presence!
