A Multi-Year Project Supporting Greek Society

ALLILONnet, with a high sense of responsibility and solidarity, implemented an extensive equipment donation program from 2016 to 2022, serving as a bridge of contribution between major organizations and Greek society.

In collaboration with DROMEAS and the European Parliament, we have significantly strengthened the operations of dozens of schools, foundations, and non-profit organizations across the country.

Office furniture donations by Dromeas

Partnership with DROMEAS SA

This initiative has been one of the most important pillars of our social action. Through a strategic partnership with DROMEAS, the leading Greek furniture industry, office furniture retired from the European Commission was fully repurposed, giving them a “second life” in organizations that truly needed them.

ALLILON consistently managed the evaluation and distribution process, ensuring that the equipment (desks, bookcases, chairs, and cabinets) reached every corner of Greece, strengthening the infrastructure of public education and social welfare.

Partnership with the European Parliament: Digital Equipment

As part of the renewal of its technological infrastructure, the European Parliament (EP) entrusted ALLILON with the management and distribution of high-performance desktop and laptop computers.

This initiative served as a vital catalyst for the digital modernization of numerous organizations, with ALLILON acting as the coordinator to ensure the secure and equitable allocation of the equipment. Through this initiative, the following were strengthened:

  • Computer Labs in schools of all educational levels.

  • Foundations and NGOs, enhancing their daily operations.

  • Social Structures in remote areas of Greece.

Final Report: All equipment received from the European Parliament has been delivered to the beneficiaries. The successful completion of this project ensured access to technology for hundreds of individuals, leaving a significant legacy in the infrastructure of the participating organizations.

Donation of Monitors & Peripheral Equipment (EP)

In parallel with the provision of central processing units, ALLILON managed the distribution of monitors and supplementary technological equipment granted by the European Parliament.

This initiative was instrumental in completing the digital infrastructure of many organizations, enabling the upgrade of existing workstations and enhancing educational capabilities in schools and foundations. The material was distributed with a focus on meeting immediate needs in:

  • Educational Institutions, supporting the upgrade of classrooms.

  • Non-Profit Organizations, facilitating the daily delivery of their social work.

Final Report: The initiative concluded with the full delivery of all equipment to the beneficiaries. With the depletion of stocks, this initiative achieved its goal, promoting sustainability and the reuse of technological resources for the benefit of society.
